Bulbar-Cervical Dissociation

  • Spinal Cord Injury at or above C3- including SCI from atlanto- occipital and atlantoaxial dislocation.
  • Immediate Pulmonary Arrest with cardiac arrest possible.
  • CPR must be instituted within minutes
  • Quadriplegic and Ventilator depedent
  • Phrenic Nerve stimulation may eventually alow independence from ventilator.
